Funding Assistance for much of the course costs is available for Club members who can commit to helping teach/coach on poolside regularly. COURSES HERE FOR JUDGE L1 & L2 (NOTE MINIMUM AGE NOW 16!) COACHING & TEACHING COURSES The John Warner Centre in Hoddesdon is running the following ASA teaching and coaching courses in 2012. Level 2 Coaching – February 7th to March 24th 2012 Level 1 Teaching – January 22nd to February 19th 2012 Level 1 Teaching – March 4th to April 1st 2012 Level 1 Teaching – August 13th to August 17th 2012 Level 2 Teaching – May 13th to July 15th 2012 Level 2 Teaching – September 1st to October 28th 2012 For more information and to book places please contact: Linda Donovan (led.jwsc.leisure@broxbourne.gov.uk). Telephone: 01992 445375 The John Warner Sports Centre is an Independent ASA Approved Centre and these courses will not appear in a search of the IOS training website.  However, the courses are exactly equivalent to IOS courses and result in the same IOS awards.  If you are interested in being involved on poolside helping develop our swimmers then ‘teaching & coaching aquatics’ courses are for you. Please do feel free to discuss this with any committee member or coach.
