Attached are the results from the Hertfordshire London Aquatic Gala on 24 June 2017.

Hertford finished in 4th place and points as follows:

Tring 195 with a 80 point handicap

Ware 209 with a 30 point handicap

Royston 223 with a 80 point handicap

Hertford 251 with a 100 point handicap

Letchworth 271

Welwyn Garden 287

Buntingford 308

Broxbourne 328

Allowing for the handicap Hertford would have been third.

Some excellent swims with many swimmers experiencing long course competition for the first time in a fantastic venue.

On the night there were 11 1st  places, 9 2nd places and 11 3rd places.

17 swimmers recorded times that were faster than their short course times which is quite an achievement.  There were also 8 best relay splits faster than short course times.

Overall a very good evening and thanks to all that were involved in the organisation.
