Monthly Session Fees

 

Our fees are competitive and vary depending on the number of sessions allocated to a particular squad or section of the club.

No charge is made for initial trial sessions, and fees will be advised when a place is allocated.

You will be asked to pay session fees monthly by direct debit via GoCardless.

Annual Membership Fees

 

There is an annual membership fee which covers Swim England membership, regional and county fees and Hertford SC administration costs. This will be charged with your first session fees and each subsequent January. 

 

Hertford SC is a Swim England affiliated club and therefore membership is required.

Swim England provides essential benefits, including comprehensive insurance coverage (civil liability, personal accident, and legal advice), access to a structured competitive pathway from local to national levels, and expert guidance for coaches and volunteers. It ensures clubs meet high standards of safety, governance, and safeguarding, while unlocking funding opportunities and support for growth through initiatives like SwimMark. 

 

Key reasons for affiliation include:

• Insurance and Safety: Comprehensive insurance for members and guidance on safeguarding for safe, compliant operations.
• Competitive Pathway: Access to licensed competitions, enabling swimmers to progress through county, regional, and national levels.
• Club Development: Support from regional staff, access to the Club Financial Toolkit, and training for volunteers and coaches.
• Credibility and Resources: Access to SwimMark accreditation, funding opportunities, and recognized training courses.
