Water Polo

We have a junior session (10-15 years) from 7.30pm - 8pm, and a senior session from 8.00pm to 9.00pm, every Thursday at Hartham Pool, Hertford.  

We are a social bunch who meet once a week on a Thursday for training and a match, or to play a home fixture against another club.

Our aim is to promote water polo for pleasure and to give swimmers a healthy and fun alternative to lane swimming. We compete in the Hertfordshire League and also enter local tournaments. 

We would ask that anyone considering taking up water polo should be able to comfortably swim frontcrawl for four lengths of a 25 metre pool. 

We offer three trial sessions free for you to try us out, without obligation, before you need to let us know whether or not you wish to continue attending, and join Hertford SC. We do ask you to complete our Club trials and Swim England registration form, by email if possible, before your first try-out session. This provides insurance cover and enables us to hold essential contact and medical details eg. in case of emergencies, or to notify you of pool closures. If you decide not to join, this form is deleted in accordance with the data protection act. If you do decide to join we will process the form and email you our fees letter. There are no ‘joining dates’ ie you can start attending at any time.
