Saturday 26th October 2019, Harlow Leisurezone

A big contingent of Hertford SC swimmers attended the Annual Cheshunt Open Meet, at Harlow Leisurezone.

Forty-three swimmers across the board attended the meet collecting twelve 1st, twelve 2nd and six 3rd place. Coaches reported many substantial improved skills for swimmers from all squads: this translated in fast, sometimes gutsy swims and the achievement of a fantastic 91 personal best times (PBs).

The Autumn term is always very busy and coincides with the County Qualification window: our swimmers are working hard in training to refine their skills so to improve on their racing strategies, as a consequence. For their hard work they all deserve to be commended! Also, a big thank you to all the coaching team for their commitment to swimmers of all squads.

It is great to see swimmers progressing on their journey in swimming and I look forward to further improvement over the course of the season.
