Saturday 5th/Sunday 6th October 2019, Westminster Lodge, St Albans

On Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October 2019 forty-one Hertford SC swimmers competed in the Harpenden SC Legacy Meet 2019. This was our first supported meet of the season and great opportunity to set baselines for this season’s training and competitive goals.

It was a pleasure to see so many swimmers participate in the meet and across the board, from Seals to Seniors and including a Fitness swimmer!

Over the weekend an astonishing 112 Personal Best times (PBs) were achieved from our swimmers, with fifteen 1st, nine 2nd and fourteen 3rd places. 

Hertford swimmers showed great skills in the water: these led to faster racing due to increased efficiency of swimming. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our fantastic team of coaches who are working hard on multiple aspects of training, and all swimmers for being so receptive and excited about improving.

We really are OneTeam!
